Innovation-based entrepreneurs play an important role in boosting economies all over the world. Although innovative entrepreneurs come from different backgrounds and environments, they share common traits, motives and competencies. In addition, innovative entrepreneurs are known to have a strong educational background and work experience of 5-10 years prior to launching their first venture. They are neither beginners nor novices. True innovative entrepreneurs are serial innovators who leave a portfolio of successful and not-so-successful ventures behind them at the end of their career. Supporting the growth of innovative entrepreneurs through VET can therefore expect to achieve an enduring impact.
Creative thinking, problem solving, leadership and team management, innovation management, agile management, strategic planning, risk management, business model development, raising venture capital and rapid experimentation are the major trainable competences for innovative entrepreneurs. Providing training materials that address each of these competences and presenting them in a bespoke innovation education ecosystem that is accessible, attractive and appropriate for the very specific target group of the project is not only worthwhile but also necessary.
The aim of the 8 PER CENT project is to support the growth of innovative entrepreneurs in Europe.

The compendium will be the main educational resource developed for potential innovative entrepreneurs and will be accessible online and through QR codes on posters and hyperlinks on mobile versions.

In-service training for VET tutors

Boreal Innovation is a cooperative of entrepreneurs deidcated to strenghtening then entrepreneurial culture, creativity and innovation in communicatiion, multimedia, and digital sectors. It is composed of 10 member staffs and overs 100 employees entrepreneurs.
Established in the south of France, in Corsica, Guyana, and Guadeloupe, our ambition is to encourgae emergence of entrepneurs with growth potential and empoyement in the digital sector. Boreal Innovation I positioned in this sens as a supportive incubator, offering personalized support and training or workshops. All in an environment conducive to the transfer and exchange of experiences between entrepreneurs in the community.

Boreal Innovation, is very activte in the digital sector as it is part of the French Tech Marseille, a French Label awarded to metropolitan centers recognized for their ecosystem of startups as a common brand thaht can be used by French Innovative companies. This ecosystem is estential to the creation and development of innovative activities at local level and to train and educate new generation of innovators.

All of our programs are current, diverse and focused on the constant development of your knowledge and competences needed in the dynamic labor market. Callidus cooperate with public institutions (Employment Services and Ministries) and possess extensive experience and know-how in writing tender documentation and seeking financial resources which resulted in a successful completion of a dozen ADA, IPA, ESF and Erasmus + projects.
Skills Elevation FHB (Berlin) is an SME founded in 2016 with a mission to provide an alternative educational methodology to support the social, emotional and cognitive development of marginalised groups and front-line educators to integrate new pedagogic approaches into their everyday practice. The company is committed to providing a creative space and a ‘living lab’ for educational innovation, experimentation and development with a view to offering new methodologies and resources to address persistent social, economic and integration issues that pertain in all EU Member States. FHB focuses on applying the expertise available to design and produce state-of-the-art learning and teaching materials using open-source technologies for both non-formal and informal settings. Berlin has a reputation as being a centre for creativity and expression but beneath the surface there remains many problems that require different approaches than those provided by mainstream providers.
Future In Perspective is a private company based in the border region of Ireland specialising in the areas of education and e-learning, media production, strategic planning, and business development and evaluation. Through our work on national and EU funded projects, we have engaged and supported local youth groups, migrant communities, older persons, and individuals who have been absent from education to re-engage with service providers and mainstream education and training offerings. We have expertise in supporting businesses in niche markets such as the creative, cultural and green sectors to develop sustainable business models. In addition, we have collaborated with young people and adults to deliver a range of diverse programmes in the areas of media production and career management – supporting the next generation of creative individuals to build and sustain successful careers in the sector. Future In Perspective is a modern business that is structured to reflect the current business reality. It operates in an ecosystem comprising dynamic partnerships and alliances. We have a core staff of 12 highly skilled experts in complementary disciplines that include project management, media production and design, instructional design and e-learning, youth development and research and general administration. Our core team is supplemented by a panel of part-time experts from Ireland and Europe.
Jaitek Technology and Training, is formed by educators, psychologists and computer scientists, dedicated to the development of programs and application of ICT in education, training and business. Also involved in the development of programs and training materials, e-learning and e-business solutions, using the most innovative educational data-base management and interactive boards utilization. Jaitek has a longstanding experience in management of educational projects involving both methodologies and technologies.
The company provides consulting, implements and validates e-learning environments. Here we deal with both the Instructional design of courses and the customisation of e-learning platforms – mainly Moodle – where we can link with other (open source) platforms as Joomla, WordPress or Elgg. We are experienced in all sorts of training: presence, blended and e-learning, giving customised solutions, technical support, and preparation of training resources (these could be SCORM compliant and suitable for use on any device) and the collaborative development of teaching units for online training.
Mindshift is a start-up HR Consultancy established in 2017 in Lisbon, with a strong focus on digital-based solutions. Mindshift operates both, at national and international markets, in the following core areas of business: #upskilling paths; #coaching, training and mentoring tailored programmes; #competences assessment centres; #career management and personal development; #attraction, selection and onboarding of young talent; # trainees programmes; #preparation of workforce for digital transformation; #social media campaigns.

Quarter Mediation is an adult education provider company based in The Netherlands. It organises adult education courses at European level, under the available European Commission programmes and projects focused on education and culture. Quarter Mediation’s areas of expertise are in both General Education and Vocational Education and Training. Quarter Mediation aims to promote lifelong learning and create a link between the education systems (both general education and VET) and the labour market.
With extensive experience and expertise in The Lifelong Learning Programme 2007–2013, Horison 2020, Intelligent Energy Europe, Euratom, Erasmus + and the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programmes, Quarter Mediation is coordinator and/or partner in a diverse range of projects, performing extensive research (e.g. Gaming in entrepreneurship education; EntreComp and DigiComp frameworks), designing curricula, organizing training and dissemination events.
Since 2011, Quarter Mediation is appointed by the European Commission as the Intermediary Organization for the centralised programme Erasmus for Young
Entrepreneurs, coordinating and supporting in this respect both starters and experimented entrepreneurs from The Netherlands, and offering an alternative to adult people in risk of unemployment and to disadvantaged adult people.
Quarter Mediation works with adult teachers, trainers, people in the labour market, decision makers in the field of education, VET specialists, businessmen and entrepreneurs at an individual level. Quarter Mediation also cooperates with institutions at local, national and international level (e.g. schools, universities, small, medium and large enterprises, associations, NGOs, voluntary bodies, authorities).
INNOVADE L.I. LTD is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, research and development organization based in Cyprus. We collaborate with local and international organizations, public and private bodies, and across diverse disciplines in designing solutions for local and global challenges.
